The banner has that look to match the dark, it's a dark/light high contrast skin that includes red.
The face is pale and stoney which reflects the concrete background and dark/hard feel.

A full colour picture would stand out like a green hat with a orange bill.

P.s I think Blackie is right in one way, there are cooler pics of Eminem, but TR is also right in saying that this one suits the skin, which it does. So I guess if there's gonna be a new pic, we gotta have a full new banner. Would be a positive thing to start a wee graphics competition about it. There's many guys on here capable of making some good or better ones i`m sure.

Yeah i remember a few graphics competitions, I know we've tried it before, I didn't check the results of those way back then, and presume most were probably shite. But, maybe there's a graphocs genius broswing the forum at this minute, just waiting for a challenge, lol. I don't think it would hurt to try. There wouldn't need to be a prize, the prize is that your design gets chosen as the banner. If they're not better it doesn't get changed, simple as, I don't see any risk in givin' it a shot.
