Well from what I've heard, the first 2 verse are from old freestyles and just re-done them again in this track. It's not from the mmlp days.

he just doesn't have that voice anymore, and he probably recorded this whole track in mmlp days and probably just saved it up just like a lot of rappers do.. remember in that freestyle where he spits the first verse and then also says "No apologies"

so the song might have been already done then and just released last year.

well I don't know about the first two verses but the outro is recorded recently . I don't know why but there is a difference in both the voices

I agree it was probably made back then too, but saying he doesn't have that voice anymore is nonsense. He just doesn't spit it like that in every song anymore, not because of the lack of ability, I`m sure he can still deliver songs like that, it's just whether he wants to or not, future will tell all.

Yeah, they get deeper and grow stronger and harder. This is not good for singers, but for a rapper it's fine. He could not sound like back on SSLP with his high pitched sqeeky kinda voice, which is a good thing in my opinion. But sounding aggressive or emotional on a track would not be too difficult, of course you need to have something to be angry or aggressive about, doing it just for the sake of it sounding cool would be redundant. And aboutu "No Apologies" I think he wrote it and made it back around the time of the freestyle, but I also believe he would've re-recorded it for "The Re-Up", which makes sense, and also shows that he can still sound like that on a song.

i never said he recorded it now and if ya used your eyes you would of seen i had also said ' thats what they say' reffering to things that have been mentioned around the net
