in youtube i posted in the mockingbird video that it was a good song but shame encore wasn't that gud and then this guy replies that i'm an idiot and that encore was his best album of all so i was like, u fucking cunt u r the fucking idiot and start saying stuff so there r ppl round there who overate encore

I said before Encore has about 5 or 6 great songs, which is above average for any album, hip-hop or otherwise. There's even a few songs on there that might turn out classics: Like Toy Soldiers, Mosh & Yellow Brick Road. So It's obviously gonna be a classic for somebody. But it has too many lame fart humour laden tracks to be a classic or a great album. It's a good album in rap averages, a bad album by Eminem's standards.

i can see where your coming from but i do have to say that i disagree a little regarding encore as i think it had some awesome tracks naming:

like toy soldiers
mockingbird
puke
spend some time
we as americans (bonus cd)
love you more (bonus cd)
mosh
yellow brick road

all the above i think are class tracks in their own way both lyrically and musically,these are by far the better of the tracks on the album all the others are silly humour or just not eminems usual standard thats my opinion personally and i think most of the above tracks will become classics and stand out as with the tracks you mentioned

I liked those tracks, but as a whole they don't really compare to the best tracks of his other albums.

Encore was very good for Like toy soldiers, Mockingbird,we as americans (the first song I've downlaoded in my life from Em), Love you more and spend some time. Puke is cool too. I liked the melody while he sing crazy in love. For me, encore was a great album. Not classic. But have classic tracks.

personally speaking i think they are outstanding tracks and every bit as good as the others you mentioned they are just outstanding tracks in a different format.

they all have very serious issues or meanings behind then they just go deeper and more personal than the earlier stuff.

yes they are softer but that i believe would be right in order to capture the mood concept the tracks are set in.

the earlier stuff was meant to be an angry message and it was perfectly executed to do that whereas the encore tracks i mentioned were more deep and meaningfull so needed a softer concept as straight from the heart type thing and they capture that perfectly so when looked at in the right light they are all classic tracks just like his earlier stuff are all classics when looked at in the right light

Encore, rubbish? No, not at all! mayb a few songs that were more of just fun fillers and not serious or emotional songs, but all in all you cannot deny that it is still a decent album

IMO eminems album(i dnt want 2 call it king mathers) will be better than encore as it is quite likely his last album for a while, but with how album sales are goin these days, who knows hw many will sell, atleast a few mill. prob more will be downloaded and not bought very sad...
