July 29, 2007 -- EMINEM is desperate to win another Grammy - and he doesn't mind saying it. "I have nine of those muthaf---as, and I love them, so I'm trying to get one more to make it an even 10," the rapper tells September's XXL magazine. It wasn't always that way. "I never really understood what the hell a Grammy was. Growing up, it always seemed to be like a bunch of older people wearing tuxedos, deciding whose album they thought was the best." Exactly.

Well according to wikipedia: The song "Encore" featuring Dr. Dre and 50 Cent was nominated for a Grammy for Record of the Year in 2006. The song "Mockingbird" was also nominated at the Grammy's in 2006 for Best Rap Solo Performance, but lost to Kanye West's "Gold Digger". Encore was also nominated at the Grammy Awards of 2006 for Best Rap Album, but lost to Kanye West's Late Registration.
