Most underrated Eminem song?

Postby joelle » Aug 18th, '07, 15:14

I think it's definitely I'm Shady. Great song, little recognition.

What do you think?
Yes, we can.

I would deffinetly say that 8 Mile and Stimulate are 2 of his most underrated songs.

i dont know if there's been any underrated songs of eminem when he hit mainstream; they're have just been unreleased ones, but one whole album was very underrated and that infinite.

I agree, the album was very good. Infinite and It's O.K. were really great songs on there.

Do disses count as songs? I think some of them were crazy good (was it Nail in the Coffin?), but then I guess they don't as songs :sweating:.

Of course they count, they're still songs. But Nail in The Coffin is not underrated, it's actually noted as the song that finished Benzino lyrically.

Bully on the other hand, is very underrated, because of the cute kinda chorus I think the lyrical prowess got slept on. Eminem never did a lyrically better job on any song (Lose Yourself and Till I Collapse included) than he did on Bully. Just check it out again if you havent heard it in a while. It's absolutely multi's galore. About 2-3 multi's per line before the final multi at the end of the bar, then the exact same next line, and so on. His tightest song lyrically imo.

Also, Our House. Not really underrated because it wasn't even released, but I suppose underrated by EMinem and the record company, for not puttting it on The MMLP. 'Cos that song is one of his best too, really captures his childhood better than any song before or after did. Very very funny too.

I have Bully and I agree that it's a great song. As for Nails in the Coffin, it's really not popular here. Actually where I live, most people don't even like rap, but I think even those who are Eminem fans don't know his mixtape tracks. But yeah, I understand how it's not underrated because it's well known here.

amen to what Fordie said, i haven't heard Bully for a long time and forgot how dope it is.

but i also think that people forget about Say Goodbye to Hollywood. i don't think i've ever seen someone mentioning it by speaking about his best songs, and as for me, i really think it's great, especially second and third verse.

everywhere I go, a hat, a sweater hood, or mask
what about math, how come I wasn't ever good at that
it's like the boy in the bubble, who never could adapt, i'm trapped
if I could go back, I never woulda rapped

dunno, i just think it's really underrated and it's one of the best parts on TES. the meaning beyond the lyrics and how he included his childhood, his fame and how he tries to explain it to us. go and listen to it. :b:
