Set up a group for Donators

TR, you should really set up a group for donators. Give people an incentive to donate, so that they will help with the costs of running the site and upgrading to different servers, etc, etc. I know you very rarely ask for anything back from the community but if you did set up a donators group, where people that give money to help the site gain access to new areas or gain a different colour for their names like the other groups. I think it's a good idea, might even earn yourself some extra pocket money, lol. :happy:

on a emulator site i been a member of for like 5 years (since i was 11 lol ) im a donater on it and the way it works is when you donate your name turns green (woooo lol) then you also get a bigger PM box, you can delete your own posts/threads, also coz its a emulation site you get extra MB's to download games n stuff anywae, it does actually work very well.

maybe people who donate get extra downloadable material from the site, and have some more forum permissions or something.

i always been meaning to donate to the site (trshady) but i just been tight for cash for a while now lol

It won't work on a fansite like it would on a technology site or a service of sorts.
The idea was raised a while back but unless there's enough benefits, people won't bother ...

Doesn't hurt to try man. What can possibly go wrong with setting up a new group and allowing donators a few priveleges. I think a cool privelege would be something extra like BAr was saying, even something small like a slightly bigger avatar would be cool for people.
