Lol @ Hayzi, you're really pushing for this aren't ya. I`m up for it, but another reason for my deciding for the mutual win was that I don't have much time to write much anymore.

I have to say though C-Game, a topic with this title is gonna get the votes. The reason a lot of the voting sucks in the tourney I feel, is because of the strange aliases and usernames, it gets really boring after a while of seeing those weird names. What d'ya think? I think we should battle as ourselves like this in this topic, but only diss the usernames/aliases that were chosen in the tourney for us.

The only problem is now that anonymity is gone, and some voters are gonna either feel biased or aren't gonna vote at all, and it might be hard to tell what's a true vote or not.


P.s Love the 16 lines idea Hayzi, back to the old school shit with the huge verses.

That's a good point, and one we will definitely consider when doing this battle. But, i`m not gonna have time for this battle for a while, don't know about C-Game.

It's not audio man, so bars are irrelevant, although I know what you're saying. But, I think with your top 2 lines, they're too short and you can't show off complex internal rhymes if you limit it like that. The line length allowed on this new forum skin is not that long anyway, so for me it only gets overlong when it continues onto the next line. And lines only start to look very long when a person doesn't know how to make the lines flow.

Here's an example of my last verse in the tourney, do you think they're too long?

Hey man, I don't tell anyone to do anything, I just stated my opinion that bars don't matter in text. But what Hayzi is saying does make sense, you were starting a battle and stating the rules to be a certain amount of bars instead of lines. What Hayzi is saying is slightly different, he's saying for people not to be using overlong lines. Bars are a length of music, lines are a length of text, but good writers will have a rhythm to their texts, others will not and have them seeming way too long.

And yeah, it is cool to see Hayzi back.

no, BARS refer to music like producing.. when people say spit a 16 bar freestyle, their referring to spitting on the beat of 16 bars...

if i'm not mistaken, a bar is 4 beat with snares land on 2/4 beat and 4/4 beat, bars could be longer and shorter depending on the tempo of the beat... so here limiting how long a bar is, is wrong.. so that's why you use "lines"
