What do you mean by "no meaning"? He failed ninth grade a couple of times, so I wouldn't say it has no meaning.

but what i do find funny is i always thought he said "my first DAY of 9th grade". i don't why neither. but now that you pointed it out that he says "my first YEAR of 9th grade" i hear it....interesting....
