everyone has been comparing wat song is better than wat song but theres a lot of tracks that are amazing but never really become popular with peeps and never get mentioned

a lot of these songs deserve to have some credit for the way they are the lyrics and flow can be amazing so heres my top 5 underated songs

1.as the world turns - amazing lyrics funny and great flow

2. we as americans - has great lyrics and flow with a sick beat

3. love me - i love this track but it never gets mentioned

4. marshal mathers - from mmlp its a fantastic lyrical song with great flow

5. spend some time - very smooth superb flow and lyrics

Definitely one of his funniest songs, and the lyrics are top nothc, but not one of my favourites for some reason I can never put my finger on, think it's the music itself, it isn't that good in that song. Still underrated though.

2. we as americans - has great lyrics and flow with a sick beat

Yeah, I love the tone of this song, one of my favourite ever Eminem lines is in this song: "I don't rap for dead presidents, I'd rather see the president dead, it's nevva been said but I set precedents", awesome line. It's a great metaphor, he's saying he doesn't rap for the money, he'd rather see the president die than rap for the cash, but stupid fuckin politicians jumped to conclusions "Oh fuck he wants the president dead" and big controversy, stupid fuckin' idiots, but hey helped him sell a few extra million records. Only thing I don't like about the song is the whole idea of it, I dont' agree with the right to bear arms, but when it comes to rap music i`m always style over substance, I don't care what you're saying once you're saying it in a great way.

3. love me - i love this track but it never gets mentioned

It's good, pretty osolid verses by all, and great chorus, but it isn't that special for me, Eminem hass much better verses that get slept on.

4. marshal mathers - from mmlp its a fantastic lyrical song with great flow

True you don't hear many raving about this song, but don't think it's underrated. It's a classic in my opinion, the way he emotes the lyrics is awesome, and his performance of it on the Up In Smoke Tour is amazing.

5. spend some time - very smooth superb flow and lyrics

Definitely have to agree with you here, Eminems verse is absolute perfection, the way he grooves the lyrics to the beat is amazing, and the lyrics and tone of his voice are excellent. Only thing that ruins it for me is oddly Obie's bullshit about being "Deep down in her hole" it just adds a disgusting element to a great song. Fifty wasn't even bad on it.


Ones I'd add to the list:

Bully: Technically and lyrically his best song. The structure and composition of the verses are remarkable. Every line is multi-galore. The verses are designed in a way that it's 2 or 3 large multi's before the end of the bar, then at the end of the bar another big multi, and every line continues like that till the end, keeping exactly to the beat and structure. Only thing letting it down is the reason for the song, a lame beef with Benzino and Ja Rule, but once again, I have to go style over substance, it's up there with "Lose Youself" and "Till I Collapse" for lyrical excellence.

I think Stat Quos verse and 50s verse ruined it.. Well.. Thats my opinion. Fifty sounded like he was bored.. But this is a cool song. A bit underrated..

The 1st 2 are classics. I heard we as Americans for the 1st time a few days ago. Heavy tune. As the world tunes has always been 1 of my favorites

3.Love Me, (For the dude that said that was an alright song, he doesnt know shit...that is a amazing track..Obie set the tone, Em lived up to the pressure of following a hot 1st verse, and 50 delivered great in the shadow of Em's verse, none of them buckled in this one...
4.Hell Bound (WOW....EM His verse.............................perfection)
5.Revelation (off of D12 Devils Night, Em absolutely MURDERS the verse, he gives me goosebumps as soon as his voice takes over the beat)
