Need paper and a final thought

There have been almost no updates (apart from News - thanks to those keeping it going ) in weeks, which is partly due to me being busy but mainly because I'm not sure what else to add, not sure what you guys want (apart from more downloads you lovely little leeching bastards ). So the point of this thread it to let ya'll know I'm still around and will always be, I understand many who use this forum no longer make use of the site, but either way, have a look through the site if you can, let me know what you think is missing or what you would like to see added.

You can be as crazy as you like here, you're listening to one of the finest programmers in the world ... well in Europe .. well in the UK ... well, on my street, but none the less, any cool features we lack can be added so speak up. Plus I have a sad announcement, TRshady.com is going down real soon as I received an invoice for server costs which haven't been paid for over 10 days, which is usually the limit when a site is pulled.

Somehow we're still here but I don't know for how much longer. I need to raise $174 to pay for server costs for the next month, so if of you guys can help by donating through paypal, then please do! You can donate through This Page or by using PayPal to send money to admin@trshady.com so help us all out if you can! If we do go down, I'll raise the money one way or another simply because we're too stable to fall (rather like Jay Master Jays turntables) but I'd appreciate you're support. If you can't donate, no worries, no one is expected too, it simply means I love you less then I did before.

damn... i really hope trshady doesnt go down.. this is the only forum that i consistently visit at least once a day. and its basically the only forum iv been a member of since jan. 2005. it won't be the same if i have to join another forum.

wow, that sucks, could you mabye take down the downloads and mabye just put them on rapidshare or megaupload? I don't really know how it works, or you could take them down, wouldn't that help?

Only if the problem was bandwidth related.. This is payment related.

^ I get his point in that we wouldn't need to pay so much for hosting if we better managed our bandwidth, but then bandwidth is not the cost here, other resources such as cpu and memory are. The forum in particular is the reason why we had to go dedicated and although the limited advertising we have here does help, it covers less then half the cost and I'm still waiting for payment for the last 2 months.

On a side note, if anyone would like to be paid back for anything they donate, I'd be happy with that.
