When he made a first-quarter free throw, James became the youngest player in NBA history to reach 9,000 career points. He reached the plateau at 22 years, 352 days old. James, who entered the game with 8,997 career points, took the record from Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who was 24 years, 127 days old when he reached 9,000.

im rooting for lakers.. im sick of the cavs team this year, between players, gm, coaches, and no one is playing with heart .. we should not be a team below .500
i guarantee it'll be a blow out, last year we beat yall, this year we dont have a chance

this is the lost year for us

edit:

and also, when u have a stat sheet like this
PTS: 32 – LeBron James
REB: 8 – LeBron James
AST: 6 – LeBron James
STL: 6 – LeBron James
BLK: 0
3PM: 3 – LeBron James

Lebron shouldnt be leading in all those categories, plus no one else on the team even scored in double digits

well i gotta say i'm surprised at you lil pimp cuz you a fan of lebron n' the cavs never expected you to say that you was rooting for the lakers lol but even lebron said it himself after they lost to the knicks “We’re not playing very good basketball,” he said. “Right now, we’re not a very good team.”

well who knows but hope the lakers win

naw im not rooting for lakers i was just pissed off.. i mean we made it to the finals last year for the first time in our franchise history and now were fucking losing to weak eastern conference teams like the knicks.. and we didnt lose by 2 or 4 we lost by fuckin 18! to the fuckin knicks

i hope we can turn this around cuz right now im embarrassed to be a cavs fan (but not as embarassed as i would to be a nets fan)

what a disappointing night for the lakers they got out hustled and out rebounded, second chance points killed us tonight that's why we lost this game and our bench just didn't show up tonight n' kobe isn't 100% yet i can tell he's playin' with a lil pain with that groin injury he had the other night in golden state but i'm hoping the lakers can bounce back tomorrow and beat the sixers which we should beat so GO LAKERS!

Kobe reached 20,000 points, but that means that LeBron has 6 years to score 11,000 and if he does his record will never be broken because you can't join the nba straight outta high school anymore

congrats to kobe =D> .

and with out a doubt king james will bet that record kobe was not nearly doing things that lebron is doing in his early career.

and just cause you don't come out of high school doesnt mean you don't have a shot. one example is kevin drantt, he is already scoring 20 a game.
