I feel ya... but I would say the plunge started on "puke"... I didnt like that one... there were some quality tracks on there tho. Mockingbird, Like Toy Soldiers, One shot 2 shot, Curtains down... I think if he left out all that rain-man-type shit, Encore could've been one of his best albums.

I agree with you. It started very strong and then falled down..

Evil Deeds, a great song.
Never Enough, good song, wish it could be longer.
YBR, from good to decent song.
Toy Soldiers, excellent song.
Mosh, very good song.

I didn't mind puke either, but after that - since 'my 1st single' - it got really bad. Even if it would've continued in good line, I don't think it could've beaten TES and MMLP, though. At least for me they're on a whole another level pretty much nothing can beat.

For me the only weak songs on encore was "rain man", "Big Weenie" and "ass like that". "Spend some time" is average to good,as happens with "crazy in love" (I really like this song).... "Ricky tic toc" is nothin' bad, good melody. "We as americans" is relaxin, good melody too. "Like Toy Soldiers" is great, "Mockingbird" is great. Never thought "puke" was a bad song. "Mosh" is political, good song. "My first single" is just strange. "Evil deeds" is nothin bad. "Never enough" is average. "Yellow brick road" is average. "Just lose it" is good. "One shot to shot" is nice, but nothin' special. Love you more is very good. "Encore / Curtains down" is a perfect song to define teh album: nothin' bad, but nothin' excessively great. It's enjoyable.

Encore is a strong album.

Evil deeds: incredible lyrical content, one of my favorites
Never enough: good concept, ok. beat, good lyrics
Yellow brick road: good at all, I couldn't put a word to it
Like toy soldiers: even my mom loves the beat of it, and the message of this song is very positive
Mosh: political, couldn't agree more. Fuck bush! The beat is D.R.E. Guaranteed quality.
Puke: If you ever had problems with your gf/bf, I don't have to explain to you, why I love this song.
My 1st single: funny but there is better... The beat is catchy
Rain man: that's better. Em was playin with words, rhymes, he did it good. And Dre brought his unique style again at the beat
Big Weenie: listenable
Just lose it: Without me pt. II. Crazy. Good.
Ass like that: Nice beat, show me one another track with that type of melodies. Lyrics: Party, parody, irony, critics. Not too much from any of those things just enough. Another :y:
Spend some time: One of the best tracks, little intro from Spooky Tooth and the beat is very laid back, and cool. You hear 4 disappointed men's opinion about women. Em sings like no one in the rap could.
Mockingbird: emotional, Hailie's song pt. II. The anthem of 479873249 fathers in the world, including my dad.
Crazy in love: if you had a relationship like Em, you will love this song.(As I am.) If you didn't you will think he's just crazy. Listen to the beat. Heart sample, catchy melodies. I don't have to say Em sings incredible again.
1 shot 2 shot: That's Detroit. Not better, not worse. This one is for gangsta rap listeners. "This is where the fun stops".
Encore: when I was listenin' to it with my friend, her stereo was bad. the cd was skippin'. we didn't mind cuz the chorus is the craziest. Em, Dre, 50. Different persons, different lyrics. But in this song, their personalities collaborating, they are makin' fun, party, and real rap music. Em shoots the crowd. The cd is over. Sadly. 2004's best album.

That's just my opinion of course :8)
There will be my signature. It'll be a hot one. You'll look at it and say - wow that's a gangsta signature.
