i never thot encore was as bad as ppl sayd it was in the beginningg.. i just think his other albums were better.. but honestly he has tooo many good songs in that album & i cant agree when ppl say the wholee album is shit

lol ha cheers, not a fan of superman im guessin then? ah i thought it was pretty kool song...it wouldn't be a completley straight line but it would be a lil more consistent that encores!

wello with the exception of 3 tracks (weenie/ass like that/one shot 2 shots) the rest of the album was pretty listenable and was a strong album in its own right

it was only those 3 tracks that i would of left out

i wasnt to keep on ricky ticki toc buit it was ok

i say each to their own but it gets very boring everyone always talking bout encore and slagging it ect...

i think any artist that achieves this level are amazing em just stands out encore was awesome and thats my view

there was more tracks on tsslp and tmmlp that i didnt like than what i didnt like on encore

the middle was light and goofy
the end was very lyrical INCLUDING THE BONUS SONGS

It's mainly the middle part of the album which ruined it. I felt he was slacking as he didn't have nothing 2 write about much like when MMLP came out.

I dropped in the music shop the day it went out (without downloading the album), thinking id get something top notch... then all i heard was mosh, mokinbird, yellow brick road and a bunch of farting and burping in between these songs. Ive never wasted 20$ more carelessly in my life, i wish i bought a bottle of vodka and some bubblegum instead.

I have to disagree with everyone on this one.

Performance wise, this was eminem's highest quality album. As inconsistent as it was (as mart said), it had a level of perfection never before displayed in Hip-Hop. In this album Eminem was making fun of every rapper in the game by simply flowing in directions no other thought was possible, the variety (although not the best) was in tact.

I disliked just about every single song on this album, But - Its the obsessed fans that brought this album to life. After all, Eminem is an entertainer, he simply created an album he thought we would like.

You're right about his flowing difference on this CD. He really switched it up a lot, but the lyrics and the shit he was talkin' about half the time was a big dissapointment as an Eminem fan. That's why most people can't stand this album and would much rather listen to The Eminem Show or The Marshall Mathers LP.

Yeah, "Spend Some Time" has deffinetly gotta go down as one of the best tracks on that album. Em's verse was fucking dope and that hook was killer. Beat was also nuts.
