DEAR SLIM

Postby fanboy » Jan 14th, '08, 17:52

There was a song written by an Eminem's fan (who is also a celebrity of medicre fame) called "Dear Slim" by KJ52 calling on Eminem to change his ways and turn to God. Does anyone knows if Eminem ever written a response? A priest once gave Eminem a KJ52's album at the VMA, but no one I know knows what happened to it or Eminem responses.

This song aired on TRL on May 2003 but was cut off in the beggining and banned on TRL, because the producer thought he was dissing Eminem even though he didn't listened to the whole song. Any thought?

I've heard of it, and I think it's just a parody.
Like other songs of Eminem that has been as a parody, like Couch Potato or Look Yourself.

I once read that it was a man who "responded" to Eminem's verse (not Stan's verse) in the song Stan, as Stan. I don't know if the song is this one. An there were not only song, but several songs made as responses..

Hey, thanks for the reply. Actually, KJ52 is a Christian rapper and I think he is serious about Eminem changing his way. But, maybe you're right, maybe it's just a parody!

Since you are the only one that replied, I'm guessing no one else knows.

no no the reply to stan was a diss to eminem called "You Didn't Care" by canibus. this is just KJ52 trying to help eminem i guess? but yeah KJ isn't bad, altho he's a 'christian' rapper he doesn't really rap too religiously. there's another track by KJ it's like part 2 and it's basically the same thing, both are dope tracks.

Yeah, it's true. "Dear Slim" by KJ52 is a serious track. And I find it pretty good.

Yeah, KJ52 is off the hook! I guess Eminem didn't made any response to him. This thread can slowly die now...

May it rest in peace. :b: :shifty:
