Eminem's next album can be

Postby Tash8 » Jan 25th, '08, 01:54

a "stillmatic" or a "vanilla ice"

a stillmatic album which revives his career

or he can pull a vanilla ice and destroy his career

it's do or die really....

He will never commercially die but yeah, this next album will decide if he still gets respect.

i still don't understand how people say they lost respect after encore. Sit down and break down his bars from the entire cd. He still has what it takes.
think about it... He prolly thought it would be his final solo album, if I was him I'd want to have as much fun as possible instead of being so angry or depressing.
listen to "like toy soldiers" and the way that he hits all the snares throughout the entire drum loop, its amazing to say the least. Idk he still has my respect. Hes an amazing producer and singwriter

he might have killed it, but look at his competition

Re-Up -- 50 cent
We're Back -- obie (the only good one), cashis, bobby creekwater, and stat quo
Jimmy Crack Corn -- 50 cent
Public Enemy -- had good concept, but waht happened to all his complicated rhyming?

i liked the reup, but certainly not amazing.

I hope his next album is a variety of serious and funny songs... I know a lot of people bitch about Encore but he can't simply make another slim shady or marshall mathers lp... He is getting older and his life has changed so realistically his next album should reflect that.

I like the funny (or stupid) songs. I can't listen to them constantly but it sounds like they were made in fun and if someone can't have some fun what is the point in making another album.

So overall, Eminem's next album can be a combination of all his previous work with some new ideas to blow us all away...

Personally, I like to see him try yodelling in a funny sort of way :D

i dont think anyone would consider the reup as one of his best and i dont think anyone would say its amazing but it has good tracks i personally love all of ems songs encore was the first cd i ever heard by eminem and im still listening to him lol that should say somethin i liked encore heres my review on it

evil deeds - he killed it loved the song
never enough - it was short but i even liked 50s verse
yellow brick road - loved it
like toy soldiers - one of my all time favorite (video was good too)
mosh - i love how he got into politics on that song
puke - i liked the lyrics in the song but not the dramatics as much
my 1st single - was aaight
rain man - liked the lyrics
big weenie - loved the chorus exceptt when he said big weenie
just lose it - it was ok
ass like that - loved the song
spend some time - awesome song hes a lyrical genius
mockingbird - who doesnt love this song
crazy in love - loved it cuz it explained how i fealt at the time
one shot two shot - i liked it
encore - one of my favorites

and the bonus disc was just straight up great

i think he should have left out my 1st single big weenie and just lose it and added the bonus cd tracks to the cd

what i'm saying is, yes encore was wack but it didn't debunk his skill. fuck the concept of the song and look at the way he rhymes, his dead-on cadences. i think he's still got it

it's not that he lost it, he just doesn't always used it right

If one thing is for sure, then it is the fact that there's absolutely no way his album could flop, it doesn't depend on how good it is. It's just about his name that's written on the album cover.
However, among the real fans, it surely will be the final edge and since it's probably his last album, it's gonna form an opinion of him. After two bad albums not only that the respect will be lost, it's that people could possibly lose the memory of his 'glory days' and remember only the bad - people tend to do that a lot. I'm rather sure that Em himself knows this better than anyone else and will try hard to make a decent album. He probably knows Encore wasn't the album to leave the audience with, therefore he's doing a new one.
As it seems, I still have faith in him. Hopefully I don't have to regret that later.

The beat on my first single is terrible, and makes it hard for me to listen to the song. The song did make me a laugh a few times so it wasn't a complete loss....

^^ Oh, and 2 bad albums? Do you mean Re-up and Encore? Because TES was amazing I don't really look at the Re-up as much more than a mixtape.
