Yeah but just because 50 enjoys commercial success doesn't mean he's any good or has any talent, Even if the quality of "Low, Down, Dirty" is shit, I don't care. It's a great performance by Eminem IMO and that's good enough for me to call it a classic and I think it should ahve eben included with all the other classics from TSSLP.

Don't you think the production of some of the other non-Dre songs on TSSLP straight from the EP are of similar quality to "Low, Down, Dirty"?

i know 50 cent is shit, ive already sayed that, and i agree that i would rather listen to raw underground tracks than dumb down commercial bullshit, but what you aint grasping is why it wasnt on the LP. im not tlkaing of a personel opinion here, but the production mixing ect. basicly sucked, and dre and eminems a&r team obviously felt there was no point in puting somehitng that bad on it or even making the effort to try re-do it. its the buisness side of the music, not the personel view.

on a personel view, the track isnt a classic imo eminem its good on it yeh but it isnt of the standard of the other tracks on the EP.

and on the EP yeh i think the production quality is around the same, but i would say low down and dirty is nearer the bottom of the barrel, plus just dont give a fuck, if i had, just the two of us are excellently produced.

oh and for a quit note to people. DJ Head produced the track, he also produced Just the two of us, no ones iller and just dont give a fuck (radio edit, mr porter produced the track though)
Cool. Agree to disagree on the opinion of the track though. :D

i dont think that was the issue maybe, cause he could always have rerecorded it...

I still think that the sampled song was not approved by whoever it sampled.

Radio wont play your song if they can play a better quality song, MTV wont put a video of a low quality song (production wise), and stores wont hold low quality products (production wise). The song was good lyricly, but failed in the mixing and production department, eminems verse has a lot of fuck-ups and bad structure, etc. It was not a quality rack, it was a crappy filler. if you liked it, fine.. Who cares? Dr.Dre didnt think it was good enough to put on an album that was going to be distributed world wide. Settled.

Like what, you fucking asshole? Be more specific.

Wow. If i was any more specific i would have to hire Dr.Dre to come and explain it to you, Dumb ass.

If you want to love the song, i can care two shits. But i answered your question, the song was not up to standards, and that's why it didn't make the cut. Despite how lyrically good it was.

Hey dipshit, there's a reason I bolded that certain part of your quote. Name the "fuck ups", please. "Bad structure" as in what? Tell me how/where the structure is bad.

You think calling someone else a "moron" on the fucking INTERNET makes you look cool or something? That's pathetic.

You truly are a moron. Everybody tries to pull the "INTERNET" card, i think THAT is whats pathetic. As i called you a moron, because you so obviously are one... where you called me a fucking asshole. lets break that down, I am an asshole - i agree. But i don't have sex with assholes, so how am i a fucking asshole, hmmm - is this just another bit of proof as to how stupid you really are?

The song sucked, get off of eminem's dick or shut the hell up Evan. By the way, what are you getting so mad about "buddy" this is only he INTERNET. :y: (by the way, calm down with the cuss words, id hate to lock this thread)
I like how you call me a moron and then you go and say something like "But i don't have sex with assholes, so how am i a fucking asshole, hmmm - is this just another bit of proof as to how stupid you really are?" LOLOLOL Way to make a biting remark, retard.

Go kill yourself. And BTW don't tell me to "calm down" when you're the one who started this whole thing with the personal insults for apparently no reason at all, except that you felt like being a dick.

You make oh so little scense. :y: Its amazing how stupid one person can be. And for the record, i did'nt say no insults, i said no cussing. You cussed, not me. One more by the way, and your going to have to face the consequences just like anyone else. :D Have fun : )
Where I come from, calling someone a moron IS an insult. Yes, I cussed, but cussing is not an insult in and of itself and it's not filtered here so w/e, I apologize to the mods. But I'm not the one who came in here and started flinging around the personal insults unprovoked, you did--so if I'm banned for this then you soon should be too.

And BTW, at least I can spell "sense". Who's the "moron" now, idiot?

Uhh... guys... calm down, seriously
People can share their views and opinions without using personal insults too. I don't mean to look like a freaking saint in here, but seriously... Nobody has said the track sucked, of course it doesn't, Em's showing his lyrical talent off there. But there's also no denying the quality wasn't any good on it. Because of some unknown reasons it couldn't be rerecorded, and well obviously they couldn't put this one on the album.
Besides, SSLP had a lot of greats songs. It's also highly possible it didn't make the cut, I mean, one album can't have 10000 songs on it. Especially if there were problems with the beat and such. Nobody knows the exact answer, but everybody has their own opinions and to fight over them... it has no point. Nobody can prove anything. And calling each other names doesn't make it any better.
