on the real, i would want the next album not to be slim shady, not to be marshal mather not to be eminem, id want the album to be what he wants it to be, if that makes sense

really the popularity and comments about him and his music get back to his ears, im pretty sure he (along with loads of other artists) check out there big fansites and all the things round the net about wanting slim shady back ect. must annoy and pressure him.

he said encore was what is was coz thats what he thought people wanted, and that was becuase his commercial pop crossover singles were what was selling and what was on the radio 25 times a day.

for me he shouldnt do what anyone wants him to do, he should'nt be influenced by his fans what so ever..really he should go away lock himself in his studio for a month with no influence from anyone, not dre not his label not the artists on his label...and just get back into music and doing what he wants to do.

I don't care as long as it's good. He has proved he can make classics with all his alter egos - Em, Slim and Marshall, too. I don't even think it should be only one of them. Let him make what he wants to, it doesn't matter in which style it is (unless it's wacky as Encore was, I honestly didn't like the fart sounds that much ). I wouldn't mind if one song would be angry, the other one comical, the third one sad and so on.
I don't care about anything else than the quality. And yeah, I agree with McMaybe too... That's why I'm so sure the upcoming album will be good. He doesn't need to make it other than to prove himself he's still got it. He knows Encore wasn't the album to leave the audience with (god knows how many times I've already repeated the same one thing but whatever ), therefore I'm sure he wants to make another classic. In a way I think he has that old 'hunger' again, 'cause obviously even he himself understands the importance of the album. He needs to make a decent album. For his own sake, not anyone else's.
