this argument (thread) is like saying my vinyls are pieces of musical sh1t and i should break them all because there are CD's that were made that have better sound quality. :-s
sound quality is a dumb thing to be upset over when it WAS explained that the re-up was a mixtape and not a finished album.

My self i never even noticed the production flaws cause i don't really try and look for them. And like trash said it was gonna be a mix tape then he made it a album and most likey didnt want to rerecord it. When
at 37 secs it sounded like he bumped the mic.

yeah, i thought it was a bad cd-rip too. and i listen more to lyrics then to beat too. i say i like the song, even if it's bad ass mixed or smth. i won't say nothin' but it's not the best, it's not the worst... and 'the re-up' is still a mix tape to me...
Ted Bundy did it, John Gasey did it, Jeffery Dahmer did it, Jim Baker did it, Jimmy Swaggart did it, Lil Rick did it... And why me can't do it? :confusion:

yeah... the only reason that could explain why they didn't bother re-recording the track is the fact that it was a bonus track... well Idk, in the booklet it's not described as a bonus track but there was a sticker on the CD when I bought it and it said "including a free bonus track NO APOLOGIES" or something like that... so when you think about it, it's much better to have a track with recycled verses and some distorted parts than having no bonus track at all

on my copy of re-up, i doesnt say anything bout bonus tracks on the front, and on the tracklist the only track listed as a bonus track is Stat Quo - Billion Bucks

but i got the Uk copy obviously and there is usually different bonus tracks in the different territories, so its understandable that some of the territories may have had no apologies listed as a bonus track and some may have not.

on the quality side though, this is something that pisses me off about shady records right now with D12's music and Obies, shady records is not a independant label, its not a small label, it houses the 2 of the biggest selling artists music has ever seen and is a major record label in all territories, ir doesnt matter if its a mixtape, a single, a album or a radio interview, you expect top quality, especially when your paying £10 for the cd to show support and see that they couldnt be arsed mastering a track but they didnt care about that when taking your money off you.

its nit picking and most people will be like "its some clicks and pops chill out" but its the principle of it.

not that i listen to the CD enough to care but for the sake of the thread, its a valid point.

The best thing about the RE-UP is the plastic CD case. That thing can take a beating. unlike the old style 1s that break if you look at them the wrong way.

I thought the song was insane personally.
In the last couple years eminems style has completely changed from what we used to see... which is expected right?? but at the same time alot of people think he's gettin worse. imo this is one of his best tracks that he's released since the 8mile cd. Unlike the songs he's been releasing lately this song actually sounds like he put some effort into it (delivery wise...not production or the fact that he used two old freestyles as full verses). but in terms of delivery, it has passion which is what he's been missing lately with those shitty club bangers he's been puttin out lately.
and i also thought the beet was perfect for this track.
just my opinion..

ffs give it a rest for once

this thread i believe was about how good the song is as in a song not as how good a production is ffs

If you think "No Apologies" sucks, then you must REEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLy fucking hate everything else he's put out from 2003-Present. Because "No Apologiesis" is the best thing he's done since 8 Mile/The Eminem Show and it's not even a fucking contest.

At least he's being a real emcee in that one. I mean, some of the stuff from Encore sounds like a half-retarded high school kid fucking around....Or his pathetic verse on "Smack That", for example.

but he isnt being a real MC hes just syaing he is, using old freestyles from years ago is not proving your still a real MC its proving you can recite music you made years ago when you were a real MC

I know, I'm just saying I'd find a way to appreciate it. Because we may not get anything else new from the period in Em's life where he was a real MC...His next album could be Encore all over again for all we know.

how can you say thats not being a real mc?????

he wrote the freestyles originally so what difference does it make whether he chooses to release them now or back then he still made them therefore he still a real mc he can still recite mmusic and still be a real mc the last verse which was brand new was easily as good as the first 2 so imo that makes him a real mc plus the song was never officially recorded untill the re up so stop being so fucking petty with stupid things

the song is fucking awesome and em proved he still got it end of
