im more familiar with microsoft sql server....

ryt now im workin on mysql
and ma least knowledge is on oracle...
so wat do ya wanna know

Well.....

I have a table in my database which has no Primary Key but has two foreign keys. Am I right in thinking that these two foreign keys can be used to identify a record and it is called a compound key?

yes....it seems like ur havin a many 2 many relationship

so the FKs are PKs off the correspondin tables...

so you can use those 2 keys to identify the record..

yes its a compound key / composite key.......
