
Sort it out lads!

On another forum that I frequent, a warning comes up when you are about to reply to a topic that's over 30 days old:
It is against the rules to make a reply to an old topic unless under special circumstances such as, but not limited to, the topic's discussion has died but there is new striking evidence to turn thoughts around or saying thank you for the author. A reply with information that is relevant and useful is allowed.
I think this is perfect, and would do the job. Although saying thank you is not, imo, reason for bumping a very old topic.
