People have been saying that Em completely lost his musical talent in the past one or two years. But take a look at whose songs he's featuring on...Akon, T.I., 50 Cent. And look at the subject matter of these songs: Girls, random shit, and girls. Now these 2 factors already show me why Em hasn't been doing too good. He's been working with artists that are too mainstream for most of his fans, and the themes and topics in their songs are not Marshall's style at all. And I mean, I would normally expect a whole song to be about a single thing, so Em wouldn't really add his own style and theme to a song about bitches and whatnot. It's possible of course, but I mean, it's just the subject matter of the songs that make them bad.
But look at what happens when Em makes a solo song. People say that "Step Right Up" was actually a pretty good song. Personally, I thought it was good.
