Yes i agree with chet, Biggie TO ME is overfuckingrated, i've tried to listen to him but never got hooked on him, i like some of his songs but every time i hear he's one of the best i disagree.
I think xzibit's can be considered Underrated for the fact that no one mentions him, but everyone respects him so i guess he's not really..
there isnt a right and wrong but theres standards, saying people like rakim are over-rated is stupid, coz he gets credit for what he has and isnt overrated if he was overrated he would be more widely listened to, lil wayne is what you call over-rated not rakim. same goes for biggie, lol at poeple thinking he doesnt have a shout at being the greatest, there is only 6 or 7 other mc's in the mix with him and there all legends like nas, rakim, eminem, big pun, big L ect.
and about rakims songs sounding the same, thats all well and good coz its a style you like or dont like, but you dont judge there skill on stuff like that, you cant say "hes not that good coz all his songs sound the same and have highly metiphorical concepts with awesome worplday great rhymes and a solid flow pshhh OVER RATED BY FAR!" im over-ecxagerating but you catch my drift right ?
anywae, underated = UK, Overated = lil wayne

but i think he lost alot because of this "G-Unot/Game Over" shit. if he just stepped away from it and made real music instead of '10k Bars', it would be much better for him. 'The Documentary' is an awesome album for me, for a moment i thought it might be the last resort for G-Unit; let's face it, he's better than 50, Yayo, Buck and Banks together. i didn't like his 2nd album though, but i still think he's good.
