it's like, when i rap, i think it sounds hot most of the time, but if i have 5 people there telling me to redo it, i'll redo it. so you end up with much better quality.

i'm actually about to hit a studio in NYC cause my friend went to a music college there and gets to record artists for free cause he works at the studio now.

that's all fine and dandy but you need 5 people with similar taste in rap. it's not good to have 5 different views on how your lyrics should go in my opinion.

they don't judge on how the lyrics go, but more on delivery and flow. and if there's a wack rhyme they point it out

yeah same thing i just told chris on msn...if he writes his lyrics..and raps them loud....does he sound the exact same way when he records it with his home studio equip.? HELL NAH!!!....studio makes it sound natural as if you would stand next to me rappin, whenever i play your song on my mp3 player..thatz the magic...listened to a girfriend's cd..she never been to a studio before...first time she been there and sounded like "WOAH"!!!!...crazy :y:
so everybody don tryna be "the underground masters who don need no studio to be ace"...you can be ace...just that nobody will care..your desicion

thats suicide for me. first of all what ever thought u had in ur head, what ever idea it will all get ruined/changed. you exaggerated a bit on the number 5, cause in a studio with 5 others that are gonna distract you, it won't go well. to come up with concepts and ideas it takes 1 person only to be comfortable with what there doing, and that person is yourself. and especially going to a studio with a producer, if he makes the beat and worries about the production than cool, but if his gonna butt in and tell me how to rap or write than thats really annoying. key to a good track is yourself with yourself thinking about concepts BY YOURSELF, cause thats the only way to feel comfortable and comfort is needed to make a good song. thats my opinion :y:

You're as right as one can be Bar.

I recently recorded a song in a areal studio, not on a produces beat by a producer I know but still. And the result was much better than all my other songs I've made so far. The only thing that needs to be done with the track now is a little mixing and my homie laying down a varse on it. Plus we need a chick on the chorus. But yeah, I agree totally with you.

And look out for my song, coming soon! :8)

the ppl sitting in the studio telling you what to do would piss me off just same way as they would piss you off....but...basicly it's about the quality and the way the producer mixes your shit...you can have 2 ppl in there...a buddy that can help you with your desicions and the producer / engineer who takes care of how hot your verse sounds(talkin bout sound quality)....so to completly drift of this idea is wrong in my eyes..not like every rapper in the world listens to 20 diff ppl, only care for the own opinion and what your best friend might think...the studio idea is all about the quality i think...

that's something that you would like to do, and it's cool. but i just don't feel comfortable people getting involved and telling me what to do, i want that freedom where you can do whatever you want when ever you want, and believe me when i do step my foot in a studio i'll be ready :y:

ue i mean..shits expensive..and not everyone has somebody they cool with, who can get them in fo cheap or free..but thatz the way i see it..ppl want hot shit (not soulja boys' fans but you know haha)...so you do your..show your shit around and if ya hot...some ppl might go over your work and see how they can make it sound better..might hit you up with studio time..so it's all about eraning stripez and respect to get free or cheap shit..impossible is nothing, might be hard, but not impossible
