Rap is music.

However, most mainstream "Rap" these days (Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy) is not rap. I don't even know what to call it. It is not music, it is terrible.

I also do think there is a huge difference between Eminem and most rappers, besides skin color. Rims, bitches, clubs, money, and bling bling don't appeal to me. I could care less about that. "Rappers" these days just say the same things over and over. It's way too repetitive and they have the vocabulary of a 6th grader.. Eminem is the only rap I really listen to, and I listen to him a lot more than any other band or artist. Kinda weird I guess. I know there are other rappers who don't rap about that stuff, but they never will match up to Eminem in terms of lyrics, meaning, and flow. I view him as a poet really.
