there was that priest at our school, he taught religion. he wasn't gay, but he tried to force us to think that what he says is actually true. he was against A-pills and everything connected to that, homosexual people, abortion, euthanasia, stem-cells research, blah blah blah. thank God he was white, because he'd probably be against whites too. my point is, that THIS kind of people would do more damage than a gay teacher, who'd just do his job as a english teacher.
ill give you that, people forcing there beileifs upon anyone is wrong imo, but its human nature to try get people to see from your point of view and i do it aswell on a lesser example with hip hop music i tell people "wayne sucks you should be bumping rakim" it doesnt bother me even when its on subjects like abortion, some people are so weak they would have no beleifs at all if people didnt force a view upon them, great example with religion they beileive it coz there told it and if they didnt beileive in that they would have no beileifs or anything and probly kill there selves. only time it really annoys me is when its done to young children coz there to young to think for themselves, and yeh if a gay teacher taught english and didnt try in anywae or form to show that homosexuality is a naturual thing i wouldnt care, but the fact is if you aska homosexual there opinion on gay couples thye obviously support it and if a young boys favourite teacher told him "being gay is ok" it feels wrong to me.
then again i dont think anyone should say "being gay is wrong" to young people but they shouldnt associate it with fun parades of bright pretty colours and party's, using avderstising tricks to put positive's into young childrens heads then the tv channels vblasting it over the news is terrible imo.
