6/18/08 Masta Ace Talks Eminem Remix Of His Slaughtahouse

As we previously reported yesterday, Eminem remixed Masta Ace's "Slaughtahouse" track for a new album called RMXXOLOGY. The album that features tracks from Tone Loc, Young MC and Fatlip are remixed by Peaches, Aaron Lacrate and Debonair Samir and Hot Chip, came out on June 3rd.

Now Masta Ace is commenting on the Slim Shady remix saying "It's an incredible honor that somebody so talented and accomplished in the game would wanna do a remix of my song," he told HipHopDX Wednesday morning. The two, along with J. Black, appeared together on the rare track "Hellbound," made early in Eminem's career. A long time ago Eminem told Masta Ace that his 1993 album Slaughtahouse was a staple for him in the years that were documented in the movie 8 Mile.
