cage (rapper)vs eminem

Postby Dark Blue » Jun 14th, '08, 18:48

i was lookin up info on the rapper prozak but i came across "cage" a rapper from from Middletown, New York., He is known for his lyrics inspired by his experiences in a mental institution as a teenager,He is also notable for a short-lived feud with Eminem (insults directed at him on The Slim Shady LP).Movies for the Blind is the debut solo album, Some lyrics address comments made by Eminem on his Slim Shady LP. On that album, Eminem implied that Cage was homosexual. On "Pussy, Money and War", Cage says that he "used to pistol whip 'til Shady made it look pussy". Nevertheless the album is surprisingly light on such material, considering the long-running feud between the two rappers...i never herd about this feud is this still going on now?when did it end?

I was just reading about him on Wiki the other day. Thought about downloading a CD. Is it worth the time? If so any suggestions?

What would be a good song to download/youtube to show his best material?

well his older shit is alot like old eminem, but darker....tons of drugs, and tons and tons of dark fucking lyrics

He doesn't do drugs anymore, so his subject matter now is alot different.

If I remember right you like ICP and stuff like that? I'm pretty sure you will like him.

He is good, but meh not catchy. It's just like a sicker Slim Shady with worst beats

I like how he started with the reading of a part from "A Clockwork Orange" but other than that allI got was a good rhymer with a shitty beat. He's not someone I would listen to, although I did only listen to that one song. BTW thanks for the source Chet.

Cage is pretty cool, based on these youtube links. Why did they start the beef in the first place?
How ironic is it that I'm riding around listening to Nickelback? (I'm back!) - Royce

Basically a "who did it first" type thing. Cage got his alter ego, Agent Orange, and Em of course had Slim Shady. They basically battled over who started that first.
