Gotta say thought the beat to FACK is pretty dam good, id love to have that instrumental,

i think the songs funny and a good song to listen to, but only failed lyrically but it was only ever ment to be a piss about track anyway thats why it aint on a studio album LP.

don't agree....well i take ur point but i dnt agree....as tony yayo (out of all people) recently said.....money make the world go round.....he's right...if sum1 sells 1 mill first week, people are gonna produce more stuff like that......i do give attention to those who do well.....so much attention i actually re-produce their songs....but someone has gta also say wot a load of crap hip-hop is atm....and sadly atm that kinda shit seems to be topping the charts and be most popular

Ever hear all publicity is good publicity? by saying how crap someone is without opinon and just making topics to slate bad rappers your publicising them. Okay so you could for example make a topic about how well a shit rapper sold in his first week and people who HAVE heard him and hate him will agree, But if you get people who havent heard them they may take a listen and like them. all your doing is potentially increasing there fanbase than decreasing it. Surely a better idea is to make topics about dope rappers with links to songs to get people into the good artists?

yeah i heard that phrase, maybe your right, but i heard about wayne because he had created a lot of hype on mtv and da net and had gained popularity....not cos i had read that he was shit....lol but i get what ur saying....... most of da time i dont get worked up about these kinda things....but i talk bout lil wayne and the carter III cos im actually amazed anyone can like it.....my brain cannot get round the idea of over a million people spending their hardly earnt cash on it..... :confusion: TELL ME HOW???!?! before i implode

Or maybe you misunderstood me :sweating: (Ahh on a re-read i was viewing it from both sides not a personal side. sorry it wa late last night).Thats another thing tho people need to view and give a opinion on both sides of the coin rher than staring at the wall all the time (so to speak). I agree with your point about people being over critical and maybe i was then myself but em had started making a habit of it. I really dont care much bout it now neway, as i said "new view of life" lol.

I laughed at your comment about having insecurities because it's true... If he's bringing up something that's over 2 years old and defending it as if someone said some shit about it, that's just sad. Why are people still dwelling on it?

Because like you said, it's okay to have one bad song. And that's where I agreed with you.

But I also wanted to point out that back in 2005, when the song first came out, everyone was hatin' and making a big deal out of it. The attitude of "It's okay to make shit songs" was never there. Which brings in the whole argument of how Em will always have high expecatation from his fans, but let's not get into that.

You said you re-read my post and understood, but I still thought I'd explain, just in case. ;)

And Lil Wayne is not a bad rapper. Lollipop was pretty atrocious, but he's not the worst one out there. What makes him so successful at the moment is not solely his music. And I think that's what people tend to forget. You guys listen to to lyrics, and if they're not there, then the rapper sucks. But that's not how the rest of the world works. Wayne has a certain charisma about him. Girls go crazy for him 'cause he has that "I just wanna fuck you" attitude. Guys like him 'cause he throws his money and women around like it's nothing.

50 Cent once said in an interview that there are 4 things that make an artist: quality of material, performance, appearance, and personality. Lil Wayne has all 4 of those, though some elements might not be as high as others.

I'm not defending Lil Wayne or anything... I personally don't listen to his music. But you guys can't be that thick to act like you don't know why people buy his records. It's the music industry. This is how it works.

EXACTLY!

finally someone who agrees with me, its not all about lyrics people.

i listen to some lil wayne songs. so im guilty. not his new shit. i liked one song off the carter II and one of c3. i think after the first carter he fell off  and even in his prime, he wasnt AMAZING (like eminem). just pretty good. ill beats, so so lyrics, good personality/vibe. too much money and hoes though.

so he's okay, i dont think he deserved the c3 to go platinum. it was overrated. but block is hot to carter I were good.

wayne in his prime < em in his prime
