i've heard nas' album actually i started giving it a review in the hip hop section but it's def a good album, but i think it's one of those albums that will get boring fast.

The point of hooks is to make it catchy and sum up the song. Em does that so easily in his songs. He doesn't needs the likes of T-Pain (who can't even sing well without that stupid voicebox) or Neyo on each track. And he doens't sample hooks as much as other rappers either.

I'm pretty sure that song came out years after "The Way I Am" did. It was on the 2002 soundtrack for 8 Mile.
