Just noticed this thread, and my thoughts on suicides are very split. My half-brother took his life a couple years ago, and I don't think he's a coward or anything, because he was depressive and used medicine. Apparently the medicine didn't work and he got more and more depressive, finally he couldn't find another way to get out of the misery, so he took his life. I know, it may seem selfish, but when you feel that bad as he did, I don't think it's cowardly. I wouldn't bare to walk around and feel like shit and worthless all the time, so I'd probably take my life to. So when it's like that, I don't think it's selfish or anything, you got to do what you really want to do. I miss him, I do, but it ended his suffering.


But when you just broke up with a girl or some shit like that, and take you own life. That's just pathetic. Get yourself together instead. There's plenty of girls, and probably plenty of girls you love more but just haven't met yet.


That's my thoughts on suicide.

what i personally think in your case^,i dont think he was motivated to live, i mean i accept that maybe he was reali reali sick and depressed(could be a number of different factors) but u cant just give up like that and i'n not sayin that he was a coward for takin his life,i'm just sayin that there wasnt any one there for him to ACTUALLY support and motivate him to fight back and live a healthy life,get what i'm sayin.??
when i read stuff on suicide i generally compare it to the shit thats going on at the war front line,it could be iraq,afghanistan,damn it could even be palestine,thousands of people loosin their relatives,a single child remaining after his parents and siblings killed in a bomb blast,the kid has no one to take care of him,no way to earn money,no help and support so why didnt that kid take his life as well,
i guess this spirit of living is just inside you,hope and passion are just essential for living,once you lose them...game over

I can't say i think its wrong even though i do. cause like 6 years ago not even i was sucidal. i dont think it has anything to do with coward because im a really strong person but its also a chemical imbalance in your brain. its like u dont think you just do it because u want your life to be better. i dont do it no more and never will. its selfish but i guess ppl feel its the only way to get rid of the pain which its not.
