Rappers

Postby gladimnotsoluble » Jul 20th, '08, 00:51

Alright, so Eminem's silent, and the industry is run by Lil Wayne.

Can anybody turn me on to some new rap? Some new rappers

Or in general, who do you think will be the next big rapper? Bishop Lamont? What will it be. I have heard some of Royce's Bar Exam II, and it sounds amazing. But besides that, is there any hip hop to look forward too, any new rappers?

Thanks.

Have every single old Eminem.

AZ is good? I know he killed on Life's a Bitch, which is why it's such a classic song, but besides that he's good solo? I've never heard any

If you're looking for some really good lyricists I recommend Atmosphere and Lazarus.
Lazarus has some insane rhyming abilities and Slug from Atmosphere is probably the best story-teller I've ever heard. :8)

Well there's Immortal Technique. He's a great lyricist but most of his music is political so you might not like that but I'll recommend a few songs of his that are just great
1- Dance With The Devil
2- Crimes Of The Heart
3- Reverse Pimpology

Then there's
Mos Def
Ice Cube
Rakim isn't dead or retired either
KRS one
Apathy
Asheru
The Devil crept into heaven, God overslept on the 7th
The New World Order was born on September 11th
