its just human nature to compare to people when the collobarate at anything, especially with rappers in collabs you always wanne listen to see who kills it.
and by my comment i mean, eminem is a more talented rapper with flow lyrics concepts ect. ect. , but jay lasted the test of time in the public eye, jay has done alot of albums and still stands amoungst the top of the charts and mentioned at the top of all the "best rappers alive" or "best rappers ever" discussion, i dont rate the guy on a personel level i aint into most of his music but i aint dumb. spanning jay-z career many artists have came and blew up right in his face, but jay has never been removed from his postion, these guys who blow up inclube, game, 50 cent and eminem..eminem is now in hiding like a dam mole, 50 cent fell off and has lost all credability, the game is goin strong but has fell away from ever being able to reach jay-z level of prestige again, that was proved with his beats on his new album, hes getting bottom of the barell kayne beats, when jay could get kayne to make a brand new beat in every way he wanted it for him..see the difference ?
so for me jay-z deserves this title hes put in the work and proved that after he made it, established himself and has nothing more to prove he still goes consistent, he is still doin it coz he wants to not coz he needs to, after eminem stopped needing to do it...he became shit.
if eminem comes back releases a couple more albums and can prove he never fell off, maybe then he'll deserve the title, untill then, it goes to jay-z in this vote.
