lyrically it aint great, but it's a great song

I can bet you that if that was posted by a random person in Creative Writing it would be criticised for being too simple.

Just because he's a big name doesn't mean we can all make excuses for him.

didn't i just say lyrically it aint' great? and no if anyone in the creative writing wrote that it would be a good writing, just cause i thas simplistic rhymes doesn't mean it doesn't have a good meaning.

Nah i wasn't saying the song's bad, but honestly if someone posted that you would say it's too simple. You just would.

That's what popped into my head until I read the end. But honestly I see this whole TI debate happening, and all I can say is that I thought KING was a solid album, lyrically up there with the best who were out then, but his last album had only a few good tracks, and guess what, one of them featured Em!

If Eminem is ever to come back, he needs to come back as the rapper that people loved his music for in the first place. Not as another rapper using auto-tune and doing songs about either who he is, how good he is and where he lives, killing people or fucking women.

That's not Em's problems. Rapping about: DTweezy, 50 cent, soldiers, putting a mill on your head, Bush, making obscene body noises, changing up his accent, and his flow are his MAIN problems.

ROFL... take that away and he can't even rap. Sad I tell ya. I think it's best Em' resorts to putting a bunch of unreleased tracks on an album and parting from rap. At least that way we'll have some "new" material with replay value.

I'll buy his book :8) I have this sneaking suspicion it'll be good, that's if it ever comes out of course. Em's prank call to LL proved he can rap however he wants, if he comes out rapping like he did on The Re-up

What's sad is, I'd probably buy it lol. I'm such a shit talker :(

rofl i actually read the whole thread. just look at how stupid this response is:

Of all the people Eminem could be associating with to get back his legacy, T.I is not one of them.

t.i. makes money

it's like..
A: i don't like corn flakes.
B: why? the weather is cold.

:loser:

so what if he makes money? Nas makes money too, and we never heard them collaborating. the fact is that TI is popular right now, so if he and Em actually collaborated, it'd make the song a big hit. i'm not judging TI because i rarely listen to him, his flow annoys me and i don't like southern rap in general except for Chamillionaire, so can't say if he's a good or bad rapper, but the point is that these days it's not about talent anymore - and i'm saying in general, Soulja Boy, Weezy, T-Pain or Flo-Rida - but about making it sell and get banged in clubs.
i can see you all hating on me because of that, so let me explain in case you're too stupid to understand: i did not say talent doesn't matter for ME or for YOU guys on TR, because some of you actually know what hip hop is about, but it doesn't matter for thousands of 14 years old kids out there, who bump "Crank Dat" and think they're cool. but this issue been already discussed like million times, so i hope it's obvious.

now if Eminem actually did collaborate with TI, i wouldn't give a shit, for real. if he thinks that this is good for his career and image - go ahead. i will listen to this track, say it sucks or not and then go back to his older shit. i already gave up hope that his gonna have his 'great comeback' and come up with something better than we're familiar with. go on and bitch about it now.

They actually recorded 2 other songs with each other, another for Ti's album, which didn't make the cut, and one for Em's album. The title of the song for Ti's album is on wikipedia somewhere.
