this book will most likely get a good impression from the reviewers. only because professionals helped eminem write it. if he does it alone, than that's just unprofessional, and that itself will make reviewers lay bad judgments on it. plus it'd be sort of annoying and ridiculous reading something un professional yet you payed for it. so imo, let the book and its writers and whatever do there job and we fans do our job and get that shit, read it, one less thing to do in life and everyone can go waste there life on some other bullshit.

i actually have nothing against most of ems contribution on the album and play it every so often, but fact he thought that the standard was too high for a mixtape and made it an album makes me doubt him and the person was asking about doubt in em so i was more meaning that rather than the standard of music on re-up.

i mean the fans didnt think encore was a great album how can he think re-ups even goin to be a good one ? its a great mixtape but a bad album lol

No. Unless a date is given it doesn't confirm crap. People that are close to Eminem have been bullshiting about his album coming soon for over a year.

I thought it did cuz he wrote the book himself and they wouldnt put that on the back cover of the book if an album wasn't coming out.

nah it wouldnt/couldnt , a mixtape is on the artists back fully, labels dont even hear/see/know about mixtapes the artists do, thats why alot of artists (like loyd banks) really shine on mixtapes when they have no pressure on them, if labels had a say in it there would be no such thing as a mixtape coz think of Mixtape Messiah 4 about 30 track all in right ? a label would jizz at that and want to release the best 16 and it would most likely be a hit album. labels also dont get involved with mixtape because of legal reasons, as you know with mixtapes you not selling the music your selling the artwork and packaging, thats all fine its a legal loop hole so you dont need the rights to beats or samples, but if big labels like interscope started taking a cut into this profit the structure of the music industry would go nuts, only smaller independent labels officially sell mixtapes like albums..

About the Re-Up, I think Eminem (or Interscope) also wanted to give a chance to his new rappers to be heard by the "general audience"... so I'm not really worried by the fact that he said the mixtape was too good to be just a mixtape and decided to make it an album. I'm more worried by the fact that he actually signed those guys lol.

And about the book, who's writing it etc... who knows, maybe he got some help, but it kinda seems like it's a personal journal, notes that he wrote here and there etc... so it's not like it's going to be a real serious book with amazing writing. In the description it says it's "as raw and uncensored as the man itself", so I think it'll all come from him.

For the people that were questioning if Em wrote the book himself or not, nearly any celebrity that writes a book doesn't really write it themself. They always tell their story to an editor, and the editor will create the memoir and put things in the proper order to make things flow.

Malcolm X even did that.

Just like Stephen Colbert. For his he said he just screamed into a tape recorder and made the editor write it.
