Actually Obama has written some of his speeches. And he's well spoken in his interviews, which of course isn't pre-written or anything. I do admit I don't agree with everything he has done (like the FISA), but he's more qualified than McCain.

And you're missing the point about Palin. It's not that her daughter is pregnant. It's that many believe her youngest kid (Trig?) is actually her daughter's and she just lied to cover up for it. And it's the lying that is what's upsetting most people. Plus she just comes off as hypercritical since she doesn't support safe sex (she supports abstinence) and then her daughter gets pregnant.
