Problem With Sound On My Computer

i let my sister on my computer the other day and when i went on it afterwards the sound wasnt working

i checked the speakers and they were ok, then i went to the volume yoke and it said no device detected

so im thinkin she deleted the playback programme or sumtin

control panel/system/device manager... reinstall drivers for the soundcard
