I have to say, Obama destroyed McCain on almost every single subject. McCain was real slow in some cases and was very vague in what he was saying... one point i remember he said something along the lines of "you can't create a plan where you'll fail".... yea no shit... I love how Obama not only attacked what McCain said but what McCain's advisers said, because let's face it, The President's Advisers are what basically make up all the decisions.

My only problem with Obama during the debate is he stuttered too much and was too defensive, he didn't let McCain make a point without interrupting but that might be because McCain's reasoning was unjustified.

I also loved McCain's ending statement about Healing wounds from wars, but seriously this guy is 72, he doesn't understand the young as well as Obama does.

Can't wait for vice president debate, Joe will rip apart Palin.

What'd he say? 'Cause he was a POW, I'd expect he'd have something poignant to say about "healing wounds" from wars.

he said "I can heal the wounds of the wars" which is kind of hypocritical because a few minutes ago he was talking about how the war was a success and should be viewed as a success but when something is successful they usually hardly take notice to failures of the war.

I wasn't able to watch it, but I saw a few minutes of it when Obama crushed McCain... He had nothing to say, and I also agree about Obama being to defensive....

I have to agree, Obama, for one, was not boring as crap. and mccain, as always, was long and drawn out. Obama had better points than mccain, and mccain said obama's name too much. it was almost as if he were accusative (not sure if that's a word).

I know mine doesn't count cause i can't vote and even if i can my vote would go to Obama and Obama is basically guaranteed California. But yes votes do count, i'm not a believer of the electoral system but whatever.

also, knowing the president you can convey other people as well to vote for your choice.

votes do not count. the peoples' vote is basically a poll. ultimately it's the electoral college that decides. and you can say "but the electoral college might look at our votes and decide based on that." doesn't matter, they might and they might not. it all boils down to our votes don't really mean anything.

i know that's why i said i'm not sold on the electoral system, but votes do count in the sense that your vote is accounted in your state... but that's a prlblem like in 2000 i think, gore had more votes but bush had more electoral so he won?

ur right, or atleast that's what i thought at one point, i argued it with my teacher who then went thru this process which explains it does count, idk i forgot but in a sense a vote counts, but republicans in california also don't count so it's confusing.

I'm voting Obama, i didn't see the debate but i will read about it/watch it tomorrow. From what i read tho i mean, it seems like obama knows what he's doing. McCain will re-enlist the draft and is just like Bush whether you believe it or not, that is my opinion so I mean, you don't have to agree or disagree, i'm just stating my opinon. iappreciate opinions on here cause it's people i respect, so give yours.
