Well I think it all comes down to when you believe life begins. If it begins at conception then abortion is murder, and you don't have the right to decide. Just like you don't have the right to decide to kill somebody. If it starts at birth than your arguments valid.

So when does life begin? That's what it really boils down to.

No, but that's the whole point of discussing it. Do you really think that "who's got the best rap name on TR" topic has a point? No, because I really don't care which one's better, Bar or Sajjad. But the point is to exchange opinions and get to know what others think. I couldn't care less if gay marriage should be allowed or not - I'm not gay and I think I will never be, but if there's a discussion, I might want to express my thoughts.

Like it or not, one day you may get into situation like that, where you'll have to make a decision, it might be your girlfriend or wife. Or any other situation that will concern you and you'll have to make a choice, so I think trying to find advantages/disadvantages or just learn about someone's point of view might make it easier in the future.

i think abortion should be legal up until the 3 month or end of the first trimester, this allows the mother to have time enough to make up her mind or get the money for it, but the fetus remains at a point were it hasnt really developed into a baby.

as for the 'some fucking kid or what' - the right term used by literate people in civilised countries is 'fetus' or 'infant' or, more common one, 'baby'.

being not even like born yet and understanding anythink or something - true, but from some point of pregnancy babies can actually hear and react to certain sounds, they move, they react to the mood changes. they got a beating heart and metabolism which means they're living creatures and if 'every chick was able to decide if she wants to keep some fucking kid or what', we would have mountains of dead babies - just think of how many women leave their babies in hospitals and orphanges or throw them to garbage.

like i said, i am for abortion in certain cases, but treating abortion like a life preserver because 'oops, i forgot to take the pill/put the condom on' is a fucked up thinking and deserves at least 10yrs in prison.

hmmm i think that abortion should be legal is some special cases.
1st case - raped girl, should have permision to do abortion, cuz she wasn't want to have dat kid.
2nd case - if mother could die, after born dat kid, she also should have permision.
3rd case - if the girl is young or poor, and she'll give a proof that she doesnt have chances to raise the kid, she doesn't have chances to make kid's life better than extremly hard. and she'll not have money to buy food,clothes, books to school etc. she should have permision to make an abortion.

it doesn't matter if she's pregnant cuz of rape attack or maybe cuz of broken condom because being pregnant it's too late to turn back time and it's up to her what's gonna be wit this kid now. each of us has some belief and for me it could be fuckin' shit killin' an innocent baby but for some others it's just a matter of moment. we're different so i think it should be legal cuz legal means "u can do that or not" but illegal means " u can't do that ". as we all know there's sumptin' like fuck da law and do whuteva u wanted to so i think there should be a choice of the human being and not any choice of the law in that case.
