ya stand is a classic amazing song

and lose yourself is just fucking amazing too it gives me chills and its that type of song where u can listen to it more then once and still enjoy it as much as the first time..

but i do also think you should of put 8 mile road and rabbit run thos songs are equaly as good and as for rabbit run that just blew me away no chorus he just straight rips it and his flow on it is out of this world ...

Idk you guys make good points. Stan is so deep, so inovative, to think he made that after one album thats why i think it's crazy, I could see it on TES but mostly on Encore, not his second album to see how much he'd affect fans, that's whats so crazy about the song i think. But i did vote for lose yourself.

Edit: Just listened to them both. I feel like Stan is just so personal, a real fan sees how deep and creative that song is, but on the flip side, Lose Yourself you feel it, you feel his passion, the sound is so much more explosive, at the same volume you feel Lose Yourself so much more. So I think it depends on the mood. If you're feeling a pump up track, a lyrical track, an energy packed track, you put on Lose Yourself. If you want a chill song, a deep song, a real song, or a life song, Stan is it. I think if I had to pick one song to have forever and one to never hear again tho, I'd go with Lose Yourself. Damn this was a great topic. You have to pick two similar songs next time.

Stan, no doubt.

The whole concept and rhyme-scheme is just genius. I really don't look at it as a rap-song, it's just that good that you just get caught up on every word like it actually was a letter.

"Stan" is cool and everything but the song is so fuckin long i get bored.

"Stan" is like a picture, it's nice to look at when you walk by, but it just sits on the wall. "Loose Yourself" is like your favorite pair of socks. you can keep them in your drawer and get excited whenever you look in there, or you can decide to wear them.

dude if you have socks that are that old than you must have the cleanest feet in the world.
