gladimnotsoluble wrote:TES is always my favorite, I agree with you tash, mmlp and sslp were dope lyrically, but you have to be in a certain mood to really feel the lyrics, personal deep songs are what can be played over and over again.

in plus, eminem is too old now to be doing killing, drugs and things on a track, he should be more mature and reflective

Are you saying that the MMLP isn't personal? or personal deep songs as you said... MMLP is bye far his most personal album.. he does have a few tracks on TES that are but no where near mmlp.. so saying that you have to be in a mood to listen to mmlp n sslp n then saying personal deep songs are the ones that can be played over and over again the your just contradicting yourself

A lotta people don't like the SSLP or the MMLP 'cause it was gimmick-y and it didn't age well, but I still listen to Still Don't Give a Fuck Role Model, Kill You, Criminal, etc. Good music is timeless, regardless if the person that wrote the song is still in that same mind frame.

You guys are all saying I want an album more like TES or a mixture of TES and MMLP, blah blah blah. NO, what Em needs to do is just come out with an album that's unlike than any of his other work. All it needs is good rhymes, sick flows, and hot beats and I'll be happy.

We all want the Old Slim Shady back...
For me, I doubt we would ever get another Slim Shady LP (my personal fave rap album of all times), it was truly impeccable. It had both of the essential elements, brillinat concepts And sick lyricism.

Encore was bad by the industries standards. As a listener I'd rather listen to Christina Aguilera or Britney Spears than the bullshit Em has put out in recent years.

Christina Aguilera is talented.

Britney Spears last CD wasn't as bad as Encore. I shouldn't even be comparing them lol but the only reason I am is because Eminem made fun of them both.

Contrasting Em's two flows:

His "high-pitched" voice and old flow:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTnE3tIc ... re=related

With two coronas, I'm on the microphone and I'ma own this, yo, and I'ma bone this, in Arizona.

Fucking amazing man. This guy was admirable.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stV1i4DP ... re=related

Even if this song was lyrical you know how wack it would come across as?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-pp7SgpUWo

This shit is wack too. Not the verse, his flow.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlKuC06SMuc

Eminem's last good song. Regardless of what style Eminem decides to incorporate into his new album, his flow will be the deciding factor for me. I can't listen to a dude half-assing it on the mic, it's just fucking wack. It's sad cause Eminem is almost like a novelty item, his appeal wore off. Some of your main concerns are lyrical content and subject matter, mines are flow and delivery.

Encore is on the caliber of Game Face (Master P) and Doggy bad (Bow Wow). Arguably one of the worst albums put out in history. If bad habits die hard, Eminem's career is down the drain.

I probably am. As a fan, I wish I was put on to Encore well before I heard Infite/SSLP/MMLP and his unreleased music. I try to be as objective as I can but urrrrgh. It's not Bow Wow or Master P bad but lol... I was overreacting to an extent.

I'm homicidal, and suicidal, with no friends
holdin a gun with no handles, just a barrel at both ends
sprayin' techs at you
until you see your fuckin legs with the bullets holes and the exit wounds layin' next to you.

Thanks by the way.

agreed tsslp and mmlp were nothing special it was same old concepts same old shit

tes was an awesome album because it covered more deep and personal

encore was the same imho although it had 2/3 duff tracks in general it was awesome album

i dont believe for a second the new album will be like the 1st two that would be a retarded thing to do

i do however believe it will prolly be his most deepest album, yet prolly even more from the heart to

i know this next bit will sound demented but up untill now i have ignored all the shit bout him quitting rap ect... but i think ....

that this album has taken so long because he wants to have it perfect to create a big bang

he has said many times that he aint retiring till he says he is and when he says he he gonna go out with a bang

And if you think bout all the shit thats happened to him in the last few years and especially to some of the lines of tracks for example 'like toy soldiers' the line where he says 'he dont wanna see any of his guys hurt or murdered he would rather walk away from it all before it goes any further ' well he did loose one of his guys so...

does this mean he is ready to go out with a bang and walk away? i think its likely but not a definate but also if you look at d12 he has distanced himself from them to and none of the new promotional work they doing including the tour is featuring eminem

so i think i may just have a point here !

on the encore subject, its been discussed many times, but i just wanne say.

if another rapper did that album with the same lyrics, beats , flows, delivery ect. would anyone have liked it ?

i also stand by that goin by touchdown/encore/shake that/re-up standard, a rapper wouldnt even get in the game if that was there level.
