Eminem Backs Barack Obama

Postby fearless31666 » Oct 21st, '08, 20:56

Although Eminem has been open with his criticism of the Bush administration, he really hasn't ever endorsed any political figure. Now Eminem has come forward to back Barack Obama. “I’ll vote for Barack. I can’t get too political because I don’t know enough,” Eminem said in an interview with the BBC [listen here] “I mean, I know we are going into a recession. Pardon the cliché but we need something to change. I think Barack would be a breath of fresh air, to get there and actually get what’s left of the Bush administration out of the door.” [listen here]

In related news, Eminem is finishing his sixth studio album called "Relapse" due out in December (as of now). The new album reportedly will featured production from Dr. Dre and DJ Premier plus appearances from 50 Cent, T.I., DMX, Obie Trice and Cashis. Eminem also talked about his new album and book plus growing up a fan of hip hop in a recent interview. [listen here]

Damn...

You can't really blame him though from what he said. If you don't know much and dislike Bush than the clear choice is Obama.
