i dont really remember this moment but when 8 mile came out, people were all up and saying how rappers shouldn't act and stuff and then eminem comes out and proves that hey assholes, I CAN act.

oh and Em's appearance on TRL when 8 Mile came out and they had to block the streets or something, cause there was too many people outside wanting to see him... that was impressive to see

Well, I was a huge fan of his underground freestyles, so discovering his Scribble jam battles, was nice.

The two forementioned performances were pretty special too, especially the Stan one, that was brilliant. I also like the version of Stan he did on Top Of The Pops, where he changed the lyrics.

A really cool thing for me was when he won the Grammy, and instead of thanking his family and God and that bullshit, he thanked all the rappers who inspired him. That's brilliant.

A thing that really gave me goosebumps, was on the extras of the 8 Mile DVD. Where they set a competition for amateur rappers to win a chance to battle Eminem. He was supposed to save his voice and only pretend to respond to the other battlers, but when one guy was really hitting him hard, and getting the crowd to respond, and boo Eminem for still miming, Eminem's pride wouldn't let him stay quiet, so he told them to turn his Mic on and he responded to them with some good punchlines. He was a huge star at this stage, so it was a big gesture and show of his character to battle some hungry talented underground rappers. Great shit.

My fav moment was watchin the eminem show concert ,and to be precise, him comin down from the ferrris wheel and they turn the camera to the audience and they show this 15 sumthin year old girl cryin her ass out, that was one of the many moments stuck in ma head

Someone already said that the LL Cool J prank call was a recent moment, I'm gonna have to agree. Also the 2003 Grammys like someone said, amazing moment. And the speech he gave thanks all his rappers, I'm gonna agree with that too

... and another one has to be the beef with Triumph and Moby at the VMAs. I remember everyone at school talking about that the next day haha. "I will hit a man with glasses" haha. Oh, em.

For some reason one of my favorite moments was when he made 'Hayley's Revenge' because I knew when I head him use her name in the song that eminem would destroy him pretty much.

Ahh, there are so many great moments.

But some of my favorites:

When he performed Ass Like That and Mockingbird at some MTV show. When he performed Mockingbird, God that was just beautiful how much feeling he really put down in that performance.

And at another MTV show when he performed The Real Slim Shady and had like a hundred Slim Shady clones dressed up just like him with dyed hair and everything and they were just following him and nodding their heads. That shit was so amazing. It was cool to see the audience and how they reacted when a hundred Eminem's walked in the concert hall.

And when he came out with Eminem Show. Especially the single Cleanin' Out My Closet, because that was at a very great period of my life when everything was as good as it could be.

And of course 8 Mile. Where he proved the whole world wrong and acted the shit out of everyone!


So many moments.
