I wish it were like that.

This is the problem: Based on statistics from the UK, Canada, and Massachusetts, the average Gay Marriage lasts for two years. The average homsexual person has 6 sexual partners a year.

I really have no problem with homosexuals, I have a couple gay friends myself, just the logistics prove that it doesn't make sense and it shouldn't be allowed for a child to be put into that situation.

People in homosexual relationships have been proven to be more violent against children.

If we have to talk about rights..what about the rights of children? Do we just forget about them? Shouldn't they have the right to a mother and a father? After all that's the way things are supposed to be in nature, right? Or have we gotten so caught up in political correctness, entrenched in rights that we've lost sight of one of the most basic and intrinsic characters of life..Marriage.

Civil unions dictate the same laws, and same legal status as a marriage in California, what is wrong with keeping the status quo, haters will hate regardless, and people who accept, will accept regardless.
How ironic is it that I'm riding around listening to Nickelback? (I'm back!) - Royce

So single-parent adoption should be illegal. Single parent homes in general, actually. Hey, what about sex before marriage? That's not guaranteeing the potential child its right to a mother and a father, right?

I'd be curious to know how many people against gay adoption actually know someone who was raised by gay parents.
I'm also curious to know where you got the 2-year statistic. Where you get these "statistics" matters immensely.
I think it's beautiful, what gay couples are willing to do to be able to adopt a child and start a family. I think anything that creates a little more love in the world isn't as horrible as everyone raves.

I dunno, maybe it's like fuckin weed to them.... most people do it to be considered cool, they do it to get attention.

Oh yeah, that must be why people are gay. Also, to get kicked out of their homes, disowned and hated by their parents, ridiculed, teased, and to put up with people like you...hey let's ALL be gay, look how cool it'll make us!

It's not a choice. And maybe it's not socially "normal"....but how isn't it natural? My pet bird is attracted to my feet. Like, he'll fuck them if I let him. Is that natural? How ISN'T that natural? He's a bird. He's not in love with my feet to be cool, or because someone convinced him to. He saw my feet one day, and ever since then he's loved them.
I don't mean to compare gay people to feet-fucking birds...but I don't see how it isn't a natural thing. Who you love is the most natural thing that exists. It's not about sex and it's not about image and it's not about dating and it definitely isn't about choice...it's about love.

This whole debate...if you could even call it that...is entirely useless. I'm out.
Yes, we can.

Ok fine take out the religion think about this way

when you first visualized matrimony when you were young you didn't picture a dude with another dude you pictured a guy and a chick

and throughout life we are taught to be straight and all and that marrige is a time when a man and woman get together, now they didn't mention gays so thats what causes us to believe what we do, cal lit prejudice, homophobia or whatever, but thats what it is: Nature

I'm not saying gays are "oh noez bad fags keep away ur not natural ur not real" no, it isn't aobut that. The thing is though, marriage is soemthing we believe both politically wise and religion wise to be between man and woman, if that wasn't true it wouldn't have passed. Right?

If you don't understand what i'm saying or think im speaking gibberish or not making any sense, then oh well. Thats all I'm saying.
