Did anyone realize

Postby killmaster56 » Nov 12th, '08, 00:38

That eminem pretty much made every beat on "The eminem show" And jeff bass Co Produced on pretty much every song Except for the 2 or 3 that Dre Prodcued and Mixed him self.

I was just looking through my old Cds and came across the little booklets that came with the eminem show and Marshal Matthers LP. Maybe everyone proably knew this but i didnt.

I agree but I think the beats he usually spits over are so different then what you hear from other artists, it just adds to it

Seriously, almost every song on TES was 10/10 for beat and lyrics, i think its a bad idea to have dre produce the majority of his album. I really hated alot of the beats on Encore which was a majority dre produced album

Most of eminem's best songs was produced by himself. I like his production better than dres

I don't have any problem with Dre producing for Em. But I think they should split the production 50-50. Because Dre and Em is a perfect match when it comes to music. But Eminem isn't as good as Dre yet in my opinion, but I think he should produce 50% of it, just to get better and someday be equally good as Dr. Dre. :smoking:

I like this idea better, that way I feel Dre's shit would be dope as opposed to Encore type shit, and Em did kill the TES with his shit, and that's my favorite album so

true, but i think great beats pretty much play up lyrics and emotions. i can't imagine him spitting 'Soldier' or 'Till I Collapse' on a different beat. i heard remixes, they weren't bad, but the song was something different. there wasn't this connection between the beat and lyrics, probably because i got used to them. but beats make the album too, in my opinion. with shitty beats it wouldn't be that great.

like Obie's 'Cheers'. even though Obie's lyrics are awesome, i hate most of the beats and i kind of feel sorry for that, cuz for me the beats pretty much ruined the album.

'In Da Club' - rofl we all know that without the catchy beat the song would've been nothing..
