been hurt, been disposed of, been abused
life has constantly spat on my face.
Yet, I still live on.
People have killed the soul in me,
they have rejected and neglected the desires
that a person needs to feel wanted.
Yet, I am still alive.
The steps of life constantly
turn into a slide all the way down
when I reach my highest point.
Yet, I haven't fallen.
Even when you are at your
lowest or highest point of depression
you can always find that bright light
that will lead you away
with a guiding hand of love and compassion.
I have found that out now.
