I didn't read sticcy's post. I was linked to respond to that post from someone on the site. I can see where sticcy was racist, but at least sticcy didn't post false dates and information. If someone was anti Israel (plenty are) I don't mind man, as long as they put up a fair fight. Making up dates and events that NEVER occurred is just plain wrong. I admit that Israel shouldn't kill children, BUT it's retaliation. They blew up school buses and malls... It's only fair now that they get back what they dished.

Also for those that don't know. This war is not between Palestine and Israel it's between Hamas and Israel. So to those saying they're killing Palestinians... They're only killing the areas that have high amounts of Muslim Extremists. Also, they bombed Israel the weekend after Christmas, which is what caused Israel to attack.

I just don't appreciate people making shit up. I'm a history buff man, it'll take more than a few fake dates to throw me off. If anyone wants to debate, I'm all for it. But if you start making shit up just to diss a race of people (much like Ak25 did) you'll be banned, because that's just not fair.

Sometimes I feel that it's difficult to get neutral information because both sides do something to lose your respect just when you are sure to be on their side. Difficult to get even peace when the other side argues in hebrew and the other in arab. (heh, you got the point I guess)

Our ex-president got a Nobel peace price for something he made in middle-east but I have no idea what he was doing. Anyway, as long as they are killing more babies than what are born, there will be a solution in the future...

(and don't believe those graphs showing how much each side kills etc unless you can check the numebers are correct. My friend found a graph that showed that Palestine and Israel had killed the same amount of people. But then if you looked carefully you realised that for Palestine it was for 15 years and for Israel for 15 days. Or something like that... )

Also, I lol'd. I agree, but I banned him mostly for posting random dates he was making up... It's people like that who start wars by creating ridiculous lies. Does Israel kill innocents? Yes. But so does Palestine, and the fact is after the British Mandate left Israel in the 40's, the Extremists were first to attack.

So basicaly if both parties had just agreed back then, then they would be living in peace right now.

Obviously both groups were still living in the past, they probably hadn't forgot about the issues they had with each other. EXACTLY. The Muslim Extremists, and the Jewish Extremists. Now, who started the war and how it got started... That's a complex mixture of historical events. Including the British mandate.

Yeah, it goess waay back. The land in question got ruled by different people, it first belonged to Jewish people if I'm not mistaken. But some where before the 7th-century it fell under Assyrian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek, Roman, Sassanian, and Byzantine rule ( And some others I forgot ). Even the crusaders got their hands on it, but the Fatimids took it over again.
And if I'm not mistaken some where in 1516 the Ottoman empire ruled Israel.
When that empire vansihed the palestinian people stayed there, who were living there since god knows how long. I guess it was somewhere after the Jewish people left to live in Diaspora and in some other places around the world.

So it's way to complicated to point out whom is to blame, and I didn't even include the British mandate and the war with Egypt and so on....

They really should just leave the past for what it is and move on, they should start to see each other as brothers. Because they are actually sort of the same race... Both are semitic people, and they have much more in common then they think.
