I would have to say I enjoyed the second verse by far. It's flow and lierical concept, not to metion your vas expansion of vocab, makes it piece together nicely and altogether a wonderful read.

I would do that same exact technique in your next writing, but try something emotional, something that would really draw the audience in and make the gape in awe. Just a little helpful hint...
