i think at the highest point of his popularity he had more female fans cuz damn near every girl fell in love with him. now a days it's mostly guys.

I'd say it's surprisingly even, neither gender, in my eyes, would be ahead by more than maybe 3%

The reason I say this is because a lot of rap fans are males and therefore people that listen to him for his music are indeed males, but people vastly underestimate how many females are hardcore into rap and like Eminem. On the other side Em has a LOT of groupies. People that hate rap, but love him because he's hot or they like his singles or wanna piss off their parents or something like that, and while there ARE male groupies, they're vastly outnumbered by the people that like him just because he's hot or w/e. So taking both sides of the spectrum into account I'd say it's about equal. Maybe 51% male and 49% female. But that's just how I view it.

I remember in 2002 when I was in 5th grade and around the time TES and 8 mile came out, he was so popular it was insane. He was BY FAR the most popular artist on the planet, and he sold wayyy more than everyone else. I knew girls and boys who loved him, probably more guys but the girls who liked him basically only listened to him and no one else. He was still the most popular rapper from 2003-2005, despite not being as popular as 2002. In 2007-08, he dissapeared and wasnt popular at all, basically no one (boys or girls) talked about him. Now, i've really noticed him popularity is coming back now that hes made some appearances and Crack A Bottle is dominating the radio down here in San Diego. Its the #1 played song on my local radio, and at lunch my school always plays that song and its the hottest song out in my area right now. I think its about even with boys and girls liking em, maybe a little more boys.

Not to starting any controversy, but sure, Em's a legend with making it as a white rapper, but the true legends r Pac, Biggie, Nas, Dre, Jay-Z...

that's in your opinion ,, i can't imagine that you're comparing eminem with , biggie , nas , or even DR.re ,, he is way better,, and talking about jay-z or pac , each one of them has his own style ,, so we can't comapre them , they are all legends, ,

I completely agree. That all have their specific talents in certain areas. Em may be great at the hate raps, but Jay's good at mixing different styles, like Doing music with R&B artists, and even some rock, like Linkin Park...everyone has their place, you're right, but Em is really trying to hard to switch up his music, he needs to stick to his earlier years in the spotlight...

hmmm. We're TOTALLY off topic. But hell, yeah i believe Em will make a great comeback.

And I guess now I can see that, there's no REAL evidence as to whether there are more female or male fan of Eminem. :sweating:

Around here, it seems like there are more female fans of Eminem than male fans of Eminem.
At least in my hometown. It's like I'm the only dude that still listens to Eminem, but a lot of my female friends dig his music.

So around here, it's like 90% female fans, and 10% male fans. :smoking:
