Pirates of the Caribbean

The Curse of the Black Pearl
Pirates of the Caribbean is a sweeping action-adventure story set in an era when villainous pirates scavenged the Caribbean seas. This roller coaster tale teams a young man, Will Turner, with an unlikely ally in rogue pirate Jack Sparrow. Together, they must battle a band of the world's most treacherous pirates, led by the cursed Captain Barbossa, in order to save Elizabeth, the love of Will's life, as well as recover the lost treasure that Jack seeks. Against improbable odds, they race towards a climactic confrontation on the mysterious Isla de Muerta. Clashing their swords in fierce mortal combat, Will and Jack attempt to recapture The Black Pearl ship, save the British navy, and relinquish a fortune in forbidden treasure thereby lifting the curse of the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Dead Man's Chest
Legend has it that a tortured soul called Davy Jones lives beneath the sea with a terrible sea beast at his command. Unfortunately for the notorious pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow, this particular legend is very real. Years ago, Jack made a deal with Davy Jones, who is now expecting him to make good on his promise by handing himself over to Jones's servitude. But Jack will not give in without a fight, which is especially bad news for Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who always seem to get caught up in Jack's mishaps. If Jack can't find a way to rid himself of Davy Jones once and for all, it may just spell the end for the three adventurers.

At World's End
After Elizabeth, Will, and Captain Barbossa rescue Captain Jack Sparrow from the the land of the dead, they must face their foes, Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckett. Beckett, now with control of Jones' heart, forms a dark alliance with him in order to rule the seas and wipe out the last of the Pirates. Now, Jack, Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, Tia Dalma, and crew must call the Pirate Lords from the four corners of the globe, including the infamous Sao Feng, to gathering. The Pirate Lords want to release the goddess Calypso, Davy Jones's damned lover, from the trap they sent her to out of fear, in which the Pirate Lords must combine the 9 pieces that bound her by ritual to undo it and release her in hopes that she will help them fight. With this, all pirates will stand together and will make their final stand for freedom against Beckett, Jones, Norrington, the Flying Dutchman, and the entire East India Trading Company.

The Curse of the Black Pearl, no doubts.

It was original. A bit of very well combined comedy, drama and mystery. But what really made this movie was Jack Sparrow I guess.

Haven't seen the whole 2nd part, but I didn't like the beginning, so uhh..

As for the last part.. I had really mixed feelings, because the trailer was fucking awesome. I got so excited about it, but when I went to see it.. It turned out to be a big disappointment for me. It felt like they struggled so hard to make it funny but at some point it failed. The most corny part would be at the end, when they all were figting on the ship and Will and Elizabeth would stop and kiss or say they love eachother.. I don't exactly remember it, but I hope you know what I mean lol :sweating: Seemed to me like the producents crossed the thin line between the good story actually making sense with very good effects and a story without sense and with very good effects.

I agree, the 1st is by far the best of the series...and anyone who watched it and found out there was going to be a sequel would know right away that nothing could top the original. I mean the concept, the graphics, the acting, the comedy, the budding romance, and the action make for a non-stop adventure and a rush from beginning to end!!!

Well I think the creators of the series should learn something from this, you can't top the first, you can't top the best, so why the hell waste our time?
