I watched it, and thought it was a pretty inspiring show. Basically, it's just T.I. trying to help 7 kids turn their lives around by a "scared straight" attempt. They also show T.I. in a way you havn't seen before, with his kids and stuff, and the things he says. I'll watch the next episode, lol.

I caught the debut and it reminds me a LOT of the scared straight program. He took this kid "Pee Wee" and locked him in jail for a couple hours. Then took him to see a bunch of bodies in a funeral home (almost all the people there weren't even 25 and it was actually really depressing) all to show him where hustlin drugs would lead him. Then he did a little bit of acting with him reading Romeo & Juliette I guess to show him an alternative. In the end he hooked him up with an acting coach and he's going to be performing somewhere in a couple months.

Overall I liked the show and while TI isn't going to reach everyone he talks to he reached this kid I think. I already had a lot of respect for TI from his grinding to make it in music to the way he carried himself in general, but this added a whole new level to it. Most rappers don't do shit with their fame except get richer and richer (i.e. Jay-Z and 50 Cent), but TI is doing something with his influence. Granted it's all going towards helping him not go to jail, he could be out there cleaning up parks and shit or doing free shows for charity like some rappers in his situation have done, but he's actually making an effort to, in his last 6 weeks as a free man, make a REAL difference in people's lives. It inspired the shit outta me.
